Am looking at the photographs of children smiling despite of the hard living condition they are living day in and day out on Pinterest. It is hard to see children sulking for long. They forget a wrong as soon as its inflicted, and continues to live as if no wrong was ever committed to them. They are so forgiving, and it suddenly dawn on me why God ask us to like the little children.
I look at my teen children now and I wonder, where have their smiles disappeared to? Is this the price of growing up? If it is, then something is wrong. Sure, we are constantly bombarded with hardships, but we should just learn from our kids and take everything with a smile.
The bravest and kindness of people are the youngest and smallest. Unfortunately, we lose our sights and focus on things, that in the end, would be the least meaningful in the long run.
