I am one who has little patience watching movies but if there is a good one, you’d find me seated, enjoying every moment.
Hindustani movies have this hold in my heart. Particularly the oldies where there is less violence. Nowadays, all the producers want to create are violent films – the more gross, the better. It promotes violence outside the screen, but we’re all like frogs in to cooking pot, enjoying our swim and never realising we are being cooked alive. By the time we become aware, we are already nearly well done so it’s too late for us.
But anyway, ‘3 idiots’ is such an enjoyable movie. It’s about three young men, one is actually not that an idiot but only pretends to be while two are total idiots for a reasons too – one ventured into the engineering course because its his dad’s dream, while the other is fearful of everything life throws at him. So the genius is actually someone who wanted his two friends to realise their potential by becoming an idiot too.
I strongly suggest this movie. It has that feel good element to it, but more importantly, it has many take away messages that are beneficial, not just to young men but young women and even someone who is going to be a senior citizen like me.
